Couples Glam Camping experiences

Located on the secluded and stunning cliff tops above Karioitahi Beach you will find our coastal glamping sites and we also have a tree tent suspended in between two mighty totara trees which is a 10-minute drive inland.

Each Couples Glam Camp features an ensuite, kitchen, king bed, central heating, indulgent outdoor bath and stunning views of the Tasman Sea from the coastal tents, or a backdrop of native New Zealand bush at our Totara Tree tent. Winter or summer, rain or shine, Castaways Resort Glam Camps are set up for all seasons and all weather.

And to excite your taste buds, every Castaways Glamping experience includes a delicious gourmet dinner and breakfast package complete with cooking instructions plus, treats and wine.

With one, two and three night Glam Camping Couples Packages with either ocean or native bush settings available, treat your special someone to a truly wonderful and unique getaway.

Please note: You must check in at Castaways Resort before 5.00pm. For safety reasons you will be unable to access your Glam Camp site if you arrive after this time. Glam Camping is reserved by Castaways Management as an adults only camping experience.

  • A short bush walk through native fauna and then climb the stairs and enter your Totara Tree Glam Camp perched between two mighty Totara trees

  • A gourmet dinner and breakfast package complete with cooking instructions and BBQ awaits

  • A bottle of wine and other beverages as well as chocolate and fruit treats are yours to enjoy

The Three Night Great Escape Glam Camping Experience includes:

  • Transportation from Castaways Resort to your secluded Coastal Glam Camping location

  • Enjoy all three nights of your Coastal Glam Camping Experience with a stunning ocean front setting

  • Included in your experience, are gourmet self cook dinner and breakfast packages for each morning and night which our Chef has prepared especially for you

  • After your first night, wake up to a day of indulgence by making your way to our unique Balinese inspired Bersantai Day Spa, where you will each enjoy a 60 minute Relaxation Massage or Facial

  • After you’ve been pampered, enjoy lunch at our onsite Restaurant & Bar where you’ll have eight delicious lunch options to choose from, off our selected menu

  • The next day of your escape is a day of adventure. Head back over the hills to Castaways Resort reception to meet your Archery guide who will take you to our hillside archery range. Here you have the chance to test your bowman’s skills
