Studios
Castaways’ stylish studio units feature a generous intimate space with living area, super king bed (or two singles), en-suite bathroom and a kitchenette. Enjoy a restful sleep as you listen to the waves crash on the beach below. Each studio also has a private deck with ocean views, perfect for watching the sunset during a romantic escape.
Chalets
Castaways Resort’s spacious, private two-bedroom chalets offer panoramic views over Karioitahi beach. They include super king beds (or two singles) in two large bedrooms, full kitchen and laundry facilities, an open plan dining and lounge area, and balcony to enjoy the stunning west coast sunset. Each chalet can sleep up to four people in two bedrooms, with each bedroom having its own en-suite. An ideal option for families, longs stays, and corporate or wedding guests.
Deluxe Chalets
Introducing the Deluxe Chalets - our newly-upgraded chalets that feature stylish interior furnishings, modern bathroom ware and a contemporary kitchen, with spacious rooms and a true sense of privacy and comfort.
A Deluxe Chalet can sleep up to four people and features two super king beds (or two singles), ensuite bathrooms, full kitchen and laundry facilities, an open plan dining and lounge area, and balcony to enjoy a glass of bubbles with loved ones in front of the stunning elevated ocean views.
King Room
Perched high above the main resort, Castaways Resort’s King Rooms offer breathtaking ocean views. King Rooms feature a large TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, and tea and coffee-making facilities. They do not include a kitchen. For a relaxing retreat, Castaways Resort offers the perfect coastal escape, set above the stunning Karioitahi Beach with its dramatic cliffs and breathtaking sunsets.
Please note:
King Rooms are located within the Villa complex and guests are required to park in the designated car park. Our team will then transport you and your luggage to your room by buggy.
King Rooms are a 10-15 minute walk from the restaurant or other resort facilities. You can use our complimentary golf buggy concierge service for drop off and pick up from the car park.
King Rooms are located within the same building as our One or Two Bedroom Villas, which may be occupied at the same time. While they share the same building, they are completely separate and private.
Villas
Castaways Resort offers modern villas, positioned high above the main resort offering a unique escape. We have 1, 2 & 3 bedroom villas available for your retreat.
Our villas feature a full kitchen and laundry facilities, open plan dining, and lounge area. An ideal option for those wanting that extra special experience whether self-catering or taking advantage of the Resort’s extensive facilities.
Please note: The walk from your Villa to Reception, Castaways Restaurant & Bar or the Main Clifftop Venue can take between 10 and 15 minutes depending on your Villa location and involves hilly terrain. For your convenience, a complimentary buggy service is available upon request.
