coming from the north
  • Head south down the southern motorway
  • Take the Drury off ramp ( Exit Number 461 ) onto State Highway 22.
  • Merge into the right hand lane turning right at the lights - you will drive under the motorway.
  • Continue on this road for approximately 8kms until you reach the Pukekohe Golf Course on your right and a Caltex service station on your left.
  • Just past the Caltex service station turn right at the sign posted turn off to Waiuku - this is the Glenbrook-Waiuku Road.
  • Continue along this road it changes names to Collingwood Road and then Kitchener Road.
  • As you approach the Waiuku township area you will see a Petrol station on your left, just past there turn right onto King Street.
  • Go along King Street, take the 2nd road on your left - Constable Road.
  • Continue along Constable Road - it will change into Karioitahi Road - this is the road Castaways is on - about 8kms
  • Continue all the way along Karioitahi Road - you will see the beach
  • Just before reaching the beach, turn left and you have arrived at Castaways

  • Head north along the southern motorway.
  • Take the Bombay off-ramp ( Exit Number 471 ).
  • Turn left onto Mill Road at the end of the off-ramp - this will take you into Pukekohe township.
  • Veer left onto Stadium Drive and travel straight through the roundabouts until you reach West Street. (The 3rd roundabout)
  • Turn left onto West Street - continue along this road for approximately 18 kms (it will change names to Puni Road, then Waiuku Road) until you arrive at an intersection in Waiuku.
  • Turn left onto Kitchener Road.
  • As you approach the Waiuku township area you will see a Petrol station on your left, just past there turn right onto King Street.
  • Go along King Street take the 2nd road on your left - Constable Road.
  • Continue along Constable Road - it will change into Karioitahi Road - this is the road Castaways is on - about 8kms.
  • Continue all the way along Karioitahi Road - you will see the beach.
  • Just before reaching the beach, turn left and you have arrived at Castaways.
